The distances between towns in the Lorelei valley to
Frankfurt
airport in the heart of central Germany or
Cologne airport are
not so great.
From both airports you have good railroad connections.
There is a railway station in nearly every town or village on the Middle
Rhine river.
So it might be a good idea to make a travel into the Middle Rhine river
valley, which was declared World Heritage Site in 2002, and spend nice days
in a romantic landscape.
